A permanent endowment whose earnings fund top-class coaching, equipment and talent — so the principal rows on forever.
The Tomorrow Fund is a permanent investment account that provides interest income to WERC — funding top-class coaching, athletic talent and the physical resources to support that talent. The principal stays invested; only the earnings are spent, and only when hurdle-rate returns are met.
Our ambition is plain: to be New Zealand's top rowing club and one of the best-performing rowing clubs in the world. Top coaches and athletes increasingly head overseas — the fund is how we bring that calibre home to the Whau.
Every gift counts, at any size. Donations may qualify for a tax rebate of up to 33.3%, and bequests — cash, property, art, stocks or shares — create an enduring legacy for the club.
